EVNCPC: Awarding scholarships "Nurture dreams" to 13 Da Nang medical students overcoming difficulties for the academic year 2020-2021

On March 12, 2021, Da Nang Association for Promoting Education (DAPE) held a ceremony to award scholarships called "Nurture Dreams" 13 Da Nang medical students overcoming difficulties. Mr Nguyen Binh Nam - Standing Deputy Secretary of EVNCPC Party Committee came to award these scholarships.

Attending the scholarship awarding ceremony there were Mr. Tran Dinh Lien - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE), Chairman of DAPE; Dr. Tran Thi Hoa Ban - Vice Chairman of Da Nang Medical Association with members of DAPE and the parents of 13 students who received these scholarships.

At the ceremony, Mr. Tran Dinh Lien - Vice Chairman of VAPE, Chairman of DAPE and Mr. Nguyen Binh Nam - Standing Deputy Secretary of the EVNCPC Party Committee awarded 13 scholarships with the value of VND 5 million each to medical students overcoming difficulties. The total value of these scholarships is VND 65 million, of which EVNCPC supports VND 50 million and DAPE supports VND 15 million.

At the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Tran Dinh Lien - Vice Chairman of VAPE and Chairman of DAPE acknowledged and highly appreciated EVNCPC's support in education promotion in Da Nang city, which thereby helped disadvantaged students to strive harder in their studies. “A more special thing is that, 13 medical students receiving scholarships on this occasion are the children of doctors and nurses currently working at Da Nang hospitals and medical centers. They are the people who have made great efforts in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic", added Mr. Tran Dinh Lien.

Mr. Nguyen Binh Nam - Standing Deputy Secretary of EVNCPC Party Committee shared that "The scholarships for medical students do not have high value, but this shows EVNCPC's social responsibility, and at the same time contributes to the local education. Thereby, hopefully the students will overcome difficulties, study well to become conscientious and talented doctors to serve their homeland in the future."
