On February 8, 2023, Da Nang PC welcomed and worked with Yuko Keiso Company (Japan) on the implementation of the JCM (Joint Crediting Mechanism) project in 2022.

At the meeting, Yuko Keiso discussed with Da Nang PC about the installation and operation of low-loss transformers under the JCM project in 2022, evaluating Da Nang PC as a unit that has fully completed the requested contents.
Yuko Keiso Company shared more: Based on the reduction of CO2 emissions after the installation and operation of 282 low-loss transformers, during the period of May 13, 2017 - December 31, 2017, Da Nang PC was granted 102 carbon credits in 2019, for emission reductions of 254.2 tons of CO2. The next allocation for the period January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2020, Da Nang PC reduced emissions with the amount of 1,190.4 tons of CO2, equivalent to 476 CO2 credits. In addition, Yuko Keiso Company also introduced JCM sample projects implemented in Vietnam related to renewable energy sources (solar power, wind power, biomass...) in the past time.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tuan - Deputy Director of Da Nang PC said that Da Nang PC highly appreciates the professionalism and support from the Japanese partner during the implementation of the JCM project in Da Nang City. "The project has brought certain effects to the PC and the community, especially the issue of reducing CO2 emissions into the environment. In the coming time, we hope that the two sides will continue to cooperate well to fulfill all goals of the project," said Mr. Tuan.
